Orchid ‘Vanilla Bean’ 5" Pot

A climbing orchid vine with thick, fleshy, bright green leaves on long, rope-like stems that cling by aerial roots. It is the species grown commercially for vanilla beans. Indoors it is usually trained up a moss pole or trellis. It prefers bright, filtered light, warmth, high humidity, and a loose, chunky, fast-draining mix. Mature vines can produce clusters of pale greenish-yellow flowers, each lasting only a day, but blooming indoors is uncommon.
